This 40ft sycamore came down in the recent high winds, although the base was rotten it was still attached and the upper branches were firmly wedged into the the surrounding trees, for added difficulty the tree was on an embankment of 45 degrees plus.  Windblown trees like this can be extremely hazardous and require specialist knowledge to make safe.  We managed to fell the tree avoiding the clients pagoda and cut it into manageable sections, the client was very happy with the results.
